WhatsApp design change has recently observed a significant leap, shifting its color scheme from blue to green, a move that users have been quick to notice and discuss.
Users turned to various social media platforms to voice their confusion and concern regarding the sudden change.
WhatsApp has undergone a significant transformation, shifting its color scheme from blue to green as part of a widespread update aimed at delivering a more modern and user-friendly experience, as stated by Meta.
The rollout of this change will soon reach all users, though initially, it will be phased in gradually. Users won’t have the option to opt out, meaning even those who prefer the old blue interface will need to adjust to the new green theme.
For iOS users, this update extends beyond just the color change. The app’s icons and buttons have been redesigned, with more spacing between them for improved accessibility.
While Android users already had a green icon, the shade will be adjusted slightly. Additionally, WhatsApp plans to enhance the dark mode for Android, making it even darker, and increase the white space in the light mode for better readability.
